    August 2nd, 2019

Summer is here and festival season is back. With Y-Not Festival last weekend and Creamfields and Leeds Fest just around the corner, what better thing to talk about than current festival fashion trends?

It’s been a long time coming, but festival boho is over. Hang up your flower crown and cut up the crochet and get ready for bucket hats, heavy weight boots and much more! Here at Continental Textiles, we have put together a list of MUST-HAVE trends for the summer.

    NEON!

The spring/summer 2019 catwalks saw several retro trends re-emerge. There were tie-dye cycling shorts and shoulder padded power suits, but the one eighties trend that there really was no escaping from was neon.

Thanks to the Kardashians, neon shades already hit the fashion scene last year, and it is here to stay!

Whether you’re walking, running, performing yoga, or lifting weights, investing in the right type of activewear is extremely important. When it comes to leggings, crop top and sports bras, it is important that you select pieces that are not only performance oriented, but styling as well.

In England, around 8.9 million people take part in fitness activities for at least 150 minutes per week, of which women are slightly more active than men. It is also estimated that the size of the fitness market will grow to 23 billion pounds until 2020. This meaning it is essential that UK stores stock up on their activewear to give the market share what they want.

Fashion meets fitness with Continental’s stylish range of mix and match work out gear. Bold colours and breathable fabrics will ensure that your customers are both cool and comfortable whilst they are working out.

  • The Best Swimwear for Different Body Shapes… Make sure you have something for everyone!

    April 2nd, 2019

    Which one are you?

Understanding body shapes is extremely important when it comes to shopping for swimwear. Knowing the right cut, colours and fabrics to choose can make a world of difference to a woman’s confidence on the beach. But according to a study by Manchester Metropolitan University, only 10% of women in the UK can identify their own body shape correctly. Whilst most women believe that they are an hourglass (in reality, it’s only 13% who have this body type), the most common is in fact the rectangle (which makes up 63% of women in Britain).
